The death that befalls all mankind,
Can never be delayed.
There is a certain moment when,
The justice will be paid.
It is a truth like never known,
Its honesty is brutal.
It's never known a moment when,
The light of God is futile.
I cannot close my mind to it,
Its presence will demand,
My open-eyed attentiveness,
To obey its black command.
I do not know the time or place,
I cannot try to see.
For in my heart I realize,
The next victim could be me.
